SHORT BIOGRAPHY

Sara Anastasia Șofron

Ballerina

(b. 2004, Bucharest)

Sara-Anastasia studied at the Floria Capsali Choreography Lycée, Bucharest. She went on to study character dance with master choreographer Tom Bosma and attended a contemporary dance masterclass, ‘Consciousness of the Body’s Own Abilities’, with master choreographer Massimo Gerardi. She has won a number of prizes, including Second Prize at the StaREvolution Festival (2017), First Prize at the Crystal Swan Competition (2018), and was placed in the Top 10 at the YSBC Competition (2019). She has worked with the Bucharest National Opera in productions including Le Corsaire and Snow White.
