A normal person doesn’t live as intensely as an artist, but we know full well that our whole life is twice as intense as a normal person’s. We live everything to the maximum intensity, because we need to convey more emotion to our audience. It’s an exchange of energy, but in March 2020 everything stopped, the energy no longer circulated.

(b. 1989, Piatra Neamț)

Dragoș Roșu, also known as “Istvan”, was born in Piatra Neamț, where he made his first dancesteps on Romanian folklore rhythms and latino music. Wanting to go even further and truly devote himself to the art of dance, he travelled 3 times to USA (Los Angeles and New York), where he studied with the best choreographers and teachers in the world and even worked with them in private projects.

His versatility in dance allows him to explore a multitude of styles and therefore, in the end, creating his unique dance style called “Fusion”, a mix of elements coming from contemporary, hip hop & jazz.

In the last years, Dragoș went back and forth between Romania and Brazil, Sao Paulo to be more specific, where he works as a choreographer and dancer for different television shows, dance companies and theatres.
