Codrin Andrei Boldea holds a BA and an MA degree in acting at the National University of Theatre and Film, in Bucharest. Currently, he is part of the theatre team guided by Victor Ioan Frunză, in which he has activated for more than six years. He collaborates with public theatre institutions such as Teatrul Metropolis, Teatrul de Comedie, Teatrul Dramaturgilor Români and Centrul Cultural Lumina, as an actor, in the following theatre performances: ”The twelfth night”, “Hamlet”, “Flew over the cuckoo’s nest”, “The head of the soul department”, “Nora”, “The school for wives” etc.
In 2008, he received the debut award at the UNITER Awards Gala, for the role of “Laertes” in the theatrical piece “Hamlet”, stage direction Victor Ioan Frunză, at the Metropolis Theater. He practiced ballroom dance for 8 years, being part of various international competitions held in Germany, England, Greece, Hungary, Bulgaria, etc. He activated as a drummer in two bands, developing a passion for music over time. He directed four sketches in a team of young artists who set out to expand their knowledge and skills in cinematography.
