Alexandra Stroe

(b. 1991, Bucharest)

During high school, she attended theater classes organized by Euroart Foundation, continuing her acting studies at the Faculty of Theater from Hyperion University, where she studied with Damian Crâșmaru, Adela Mărculescu, Rodica Mandache, Eusebiu Ștefănescu, Adriana Trandafir and Diana Mihăiță.

She made her debut on the big stage of the National Theater in Bucharest, immediately after graduating with a bachelor’s degree in 2014, in the show “Înșir’te mărgărite” in which she learned tap dance, in addition to the numerous choreographies of folk and character dances. She has continued to collaborate with other theaters in Bucharest, obtaining increasingly consistent roles at the Excelsior Theater, Metropolis Theater, Romanian Dramaturgy Theater, Art Theater, Unteatru and other independent spaces, where she met well-known directors such as Alexander Hausvater, Attila Vizauer, Mick Davis, Michele Modesto Casarin, Petrika Ionesco, Alexa Visarion, Felix Crainicu etc., as well as appreciated choreographers like Vava Ștefănescu, Florin Fieroiu, Svetlana Zotina, Lelia Marcu-Vladu, Ioana Macarie. Among the shows in which she played, we mention: “Love of the three oranges”, “A Midsummer Night’s Dream”, “Audition”, “Paganini”, “Bambi”, “Cemetery Ball”, “Mrs. Godot”, “The Flick”.

In her projects including psychological theater, commedia dell’arte, musical, film, television, commercials, student or experimental projects, Alexandra takes risks and enriches her repertoire and her theatrical skills, showing versatility and curiosity, determination and a huge enthusiasm. In parallel, in her spare time, she composes songs inspired by her life or by some dramatic works, in English or Romanian, which she performs while accompanying herself on guitar.
